Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Monitor and titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to deliver compassionate care where needed most
Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with respiratory therapists to manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Support patients requiring advanced therapies such as CRRT, IABP, and Impella

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact nursing license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Epic experience preferred for first-time travelers
Comfortable floating within a 60-mile radius and across varying acuity levels

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical care assessment and decision-making abilities
Proficiency with ventilators, telemetry, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
Flexibility to adapt to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
