Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care during GI procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and biopsies
Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia support is unavailable, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Document patient care accurately using Cerner-Surginet EMR system
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including charge nurses, hospitalists, and specialists
Respond to emergency cases while maintaining average daily caseload of 3-5 procedures
Float to PACU/ACU units as needed, demonstrating versatility and adaptability

Qualifications

Active California RN license required
Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications
Moderate sedation experience preferred
Cerner charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Endoscopy and GI procedure expertise
Moderate sedation administration skills
Cerner-Surginet EMR proficiency
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle emergency situations with composure
