Registered Nurse - Endo/GI Lab
Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 5x8's or 4x10's, to be discussed in interview; weekly weeknight call plus weekend call (about 1-2 weeknights per week and every 3 weekends)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with advanced ERCP and EUS procedures using specialized imaging and ultrasound equipment
- Support EMR/ESD cases by preparing electrocautery, injection needles, and snares for complex polyp removal
- Handle enteroscopy and endolumenal surgery equipment including balloon catheters and suturing devices
- Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes following SGNA standards
- Collaborate with physicians during tissue biopsies and stent deployments for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- Strong circulating and teching experience in GI/Endoscopy
- Comfortable with advanced procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR/ESD
- Willingness to comply with facility fingernail policy for patient care areas
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with ERCP catheters, sphincterotomy wires, and stents
- Experience operating ultrasound processors and FNA tools for EUS procedures
- Knowledge of scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection protocols
- Familiarity with EMR systems and specialized GI equipment
