Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; may also work at Janesville location

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care
Administer medications and treatments following approved techniques and state regulations
Document care accurately and thoroughly according to standards
Develop and execute individualized care plans in partnership with physicians
Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance
Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support patients across departments
Champion patient safety and experience, escalating concerns as needed

Qualifications

Active Wisconsin RN license (must be currently active)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA Provider Level)
Either TNCC or TNS certification
Flu vaccination required
Education verification required
At least some emergency nursing experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expert emergency nursing skills and clinical judgment
Proficiency in using Point Click EMR
Strong critical thinking and ability to prioritize in fast-paced settings
Excellent communication and collaboration with healthcare teams
Commitment to patient safety and positive patient experience
