Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Perform cardioversion, administer TNK, and manage moderate sedation for critical procedures
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of providers and nurses in a 23-bed emergency department
• Triage, assess, and stabilize a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Level IV Trauma Center
• Maintain advanced certifications and apply evidence-based protocols to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS, ALS, and ENPC certifications required
• TNCC required, PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of emergency nursing procedures including cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation
• Skilled in using Meditech EMR and Welch Allyn/GE monitoring equipment
• Ability to maintain a 4:1 patient ratio in a busy ED
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive, flexible demeanor
