Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED) Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado
Start Date: 09-14-2026
End Date: 12-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour evening shifts, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, rotating schedule with every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert emergency nursing care to patients across multiple facilities in Zone 3
- Float between hospitals to ensure optimal staffing and patient safety
- Perform comprehensive assessments, triage, and stabilization of emergency patients
- Interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, responding to changes promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care
- Document accurately in EPIC and manage point-of-care testing
Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license or compact state license
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (AHA preferred)
- Ability to float within a 60-mile radius covering multiple facilities
- EPIC charting experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency nursing skills including triage, trauma, stroke, and cardiac care
- Telemetry interpretation and rhythm recognition
- Ability to adapt quickly to different facility environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
