Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert emergency nursing care to patients across multiple facilities in Zone 3
• Float between hospitals to ensure optimal staffing and patient safety
• Perform comprehensive assessments, triage, and stabilization of emergency patients
• Interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, responding to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care
• Document accurately in EPIC and manage point-of-care testing

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license or compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (AHA preferred)
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius covering multiple facilities
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency nursing skills including triage, trauma, stroke, and cardiac care
• Telemetry interpretation and rhythm recognition
• Ability to adapt quickly to different facility environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
