Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional intermediate care to cardiac and vascular patients
Titrate critical drips including Amiodarone, Nitro, and Nicardipine to keep patients stable
Interpret telemetry strips and respond quickly to rhythm changes
Support post-surgical patients during their first 24 hours of recovery
Collaborate with cardiology, hospitalists, and intensivists around the clock
Float to same or lower acuity units as needed to support the broader team

Qualifications

Active RN license and 1 year of experience with cardiac or vascular patients
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Comfortable reading telemetry and titrating cardiac drips
Valid driver's license at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Cardiac drip titration and blood pressure management
Post-cath, EP, and structural heart patient care
BiPAP, CPAP, and oxygen delivery support
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
