Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert bedside care for high-acuity cardiac surgery recovery patients including CABG, TAVR, and lung transplant cases
Monitor and manage advanced devices such as IABP, ECMO, and CRRT with precision and confidence
Collaborate with intensivists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
Float to other ICUs and Telemetry units when needed, adapting quickly to new patient populations
Perform bedside procedures including bronchoscopies, Swan-Ganz catheter placements, and epidurals
Maintain sterile technique during frequent procedures and uphold the highest safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years ICU experience with Level I Trauma background
CVICU experience strongly preferred
CCRN certification a plus
Strong IV skills and comfort with high-acuity cardiac patients

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Phillips telemetry monitoring
Advanced hemodynamic monitoring and device management
Sterile field maintenance and infection prevention
Ability to float between ICU and Telemetry units as needed
