Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Address the psychosocial, physical, and general needs of patients in the surgical environment
• Communicate continuously with physicians to keep them informed of patient conditions
• Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory, and ensuring procedure room readiness
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey (Nursys required)
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications upon hire
• At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area
• DCI/BVP certification or willingness to obtain
• Must pass required health screenings, drug testing, and background checks

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert in patient care and hemodynamic monitoring
• Skilled in cardiovascular lab procedures and critical care
• Proficient in equipment maintenance and quality improvement
• Strong communication skills for physician collaboration
• Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety
