Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, on-call required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures, monitoring patient vitals and responding to changes
- Administer medications and contrast agents as ordered, documenting accurately in Epic
- Provide post-procedure care, including sheath removal and recovery monitoring
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (Nursys verified)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
- DCI/BVP certification or ability to obtain
- Experience in Cath Lab or critical care preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics
- Skilled in sterile technique and catheterization lab procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
- Flexibility to work on-call shifts and rotating days/nights
