Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day/night shifts, on-call required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to adult behavioral health patients
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records in EPIC
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
- Respond to psychiatric emergencies and crisis situations
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Illinois (Nursys verified)
- BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- DCI/BVP certification or completion within 30 days
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record
- Minimum 1 year of behavioral health nursing experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in EPIC charting and documentation
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and side effects
