Radiologic Technologist - X-ray
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Varied shifts, weekend rotation every other, holiday rotation, and on-call with 30-minute response time, 36 hours per week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray and MRI imaging procedures on patients
- Prepare and position patients for imaging studies
- Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment
- Ensure high-quality images and patient safety at all times
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate patient records and equipment logs
Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification required
- ARRT certification in Radiography required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in X-ray imaging
- Ability to work rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in X-ray and MRI techniques
- Experience with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS
- Knowledge of GE and Toshiba scanners
- Able to float to Mercy Southwest location as needed
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
