Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions to restore function and reduce pain
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and evidence-based practice
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Document patient progress accurately and timely in electronic medical records
Supervise physical therapist assistants and support staff as needed

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in an acute care or outpatient setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members

Education

Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric rehabilitation
Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription
Ability to use electronic health records and scheduling systems
Knowledge of state practice act and regulatory requirements
Flexibility to adapt to varying patient caseloads and treatment approaches
