Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment
• Assist pediatric dentists during exams and treatments, helping children feel comfortable
• Take and develop dental X-rays with a gentle touch
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and supplies
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in Wisconsin, or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with children in a dental setting is a plus
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pediatric office

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology
• Proficiency in dental software and patient scheduling systems
• Excellent infection control and sterilization techniques
• Compassionate chairside manner with pediatric patients
