Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor patient safety and well-being continuously
• Provide companionship and compassionate support to patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as meals and mobility
• Alert nursing staff promptly to any changes in patient condition
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
• Document observations and interactions accurately

Qualifications

• A passion for helping others and providing quality patient care
• Ability to stay alert and attentive during long shifts
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Current BLS certification is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a healthcare team
• Prior experience as a patient sitter, CNA, or in a similar role is helpful but not required

• Patient observation and safety techniques
• Compassionate bedside manner
• Clear communication with patients and medical staff
• Understanding of patient care protocols
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
