Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during exams, bonding, and appliance adjustments
• Prepare patients for treatment and take dental records, X-rays, and impressions
• Sterilize and organize instruments while maintaining a clean and safe operatory
• Educate patients and families on braces care, aligner wear, and oral hygiene
• Support the team with lab tasks and patient scheduling as needed
• Ensure every patient leaves with a reason to smile

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Experience as an orthodontic or dental assistant preferred
• Current CPR certification is a plus
• A positive, caring, and professional attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong working knowledge of orthodontic instruments, brackets, wires, and bands
• Digital radiography and dental software experience
• Excellent communication skills with patients and teammates
• Detail-oriented with strong infection control practices
• Ability to stay organized during busy patient schedules
