Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain the highest standards of safety
- Take and process dental X-rays as directed, helping to guide treatment planning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care with a friendly, reassuring approach
- Document patient records and chairside notes accurately using denticon software
- Make patients feel comfortable and at ease from check-in to checkout
Qualifications
- Current dental assistant certification or registration as required by Maryland
- X-ray certification, if applicable
- Experience working as an orthodontic assistant is a plus
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Warm, professional communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
- Familiarity with denticon or other dental practice management software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
