Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and helping them feel comfortable and at ease.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the orthodontist, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Manage patient records and update treatment plans, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
• Provide post-operative care instructions and answer patient questions with a friendly, caring approach.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training.
• Hands-on experience in an orthodontic or dental setting is a plus.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for patient care.

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures.
• Proficiency with dental software and digital record keeping.
• Attention to detail in maintaining sterile environments.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members.
