Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including braces placement and adjustments
- Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures and answering questions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update orthodontic charts
- Work closely with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications
- Must be orthodontic certified
- Dental assisting experience required
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and equipment
- Proficiency with dental software such as Denticon
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
