Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure and pulse oximetry to ensure patient safety during procedures
• Administer nitrous oxide and assist with IV sedation under the supervision of the oral surgeon
• Take high-quality panoramic X-rays for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Assist in wisdom tooth surgeries by preparing the operatory, instruments, and providing hands-on support
• Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients and their families for a smooth recovery
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience with oral surgery procedures, including wisdom tooth extractions
• Knowledge of nitrous oxide administration and IV sedation protocols
• Familiarity with panoramic X-ray equipment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
