Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care including cleanings and polishing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Focus on patient comfort, with X-rays and exams handled by your assistant
• Collaborate with the dentist to assess patient needs and treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming treatment environment
• Document patient care accurately and uphold the highest privacy standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain it
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent patient communication and a positive, caring attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative dental setting
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and prophylaxis
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Patient education and motivational interviewing skills
• Accurate documentation with attention to detail
• Seamless teamwork with dental assistants and staff
