Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to keep patients smiling
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular check-ups
• Capture and evaluate dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Document patient care with precision and care
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Dental Hygiene license in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
• Experience with digital radiography and dental charting software
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Patient-centered approach with a gentle touch
