Operating Room RN - Orthopedic/Neuro
Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Start Date: 06-16-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Varied 10-hour shifts (4 shifts per week), including weekend and weekday on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced OR environment
- Assist in orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and respond quickly to changes during surgery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact state) required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience, including Level 1 or Level 2 trauma
- Must have Orthopedic and Neuro OR experience
- ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
- Strong call rotation willingness (every 4-5th weekend and one weekday per week)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in Operating Room procedures and sterile technique
- Proficient in orthopedic and neurosurgical nursing
- Skilled in patient assessment and critical thinking under pressure
- Familiarity with Point Click EMR system
