Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 4 days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy interventions that help patients regain independence
Collaborate with PT and Speech colleagues to create comprehensive rehab plans
Document progress using Cerner EMR to keep the care team informed
Support patients through meaningful activities that improve daily living skills
Partner with aides and nursing staff to ensure seamless care coordination

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapy license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy specialty
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience is a plus
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
Excellent communication with patients, families, and the care team
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Flexible and adaptable approach to patient care
Organized documentation and time-management skills
