Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Elective cases Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 on-call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments, leading a team of skilled nurses and techs
Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR patients
Manage moderate sedation and titrate vasoactive drips during procedures
Enhance nursing competency and build a positive, collaborative culture
Monitor patient telemetry strips and confirm rhythms every 4 hours in ICU
Support bedside procedures and ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current RN license in Kansas or compact state
At least 1 year of management or clinical leadership experience
3+ years of RN experience in critical care or cath lab
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC certified (or willingness to obtain)
CRRT competency and telemetry proficiency
Fluoro license for technical staff preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Leadership and team building in a fast-paced environment
Critical care nursing, including drip titration and hemodynamic monitoring
Cath lab procedures: pre/recovery, moderate sedation, and procedural support
Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Self-scheduling and on-call management
