Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Tacoma, Washington
Start Date: 05-25-2026
End Date: 08-24-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, occasional weekends and holidays, limited call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures with precision and care
- Start IVs and operate advanced imaging equipment including GE and Phillips scanners
- Collaborate with radiologists and cardiology teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results
- Maintain detailed patient records using EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout every nuclear medicine study
Qualifications
- ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required
- Active Washington state license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Comfortable starting IVs and working with multiple imaging modalities
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and safety protocols
- Experience with stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI imaging
- Proficient with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
- Skilled in operating GE and Phillips nuclear medicine equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and patient communication
