Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET/CT imaging procedures
- Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure comfort throughout exams
- Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols and interpret results
- Maintain accurate patient records, equipment logs, and quality control checks
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB required
- Current BLS certification
- Prior experience with PET/CT imaging preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and their safe handling
- Proficiency in PET/CT imaging techniques and equipment
- Excellent patient interaction and compassionate care
- Attention to detail in image quality and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
