Location: Dodge City, Kansas

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays, 36 hours/week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses on patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment
Operate and maintain sophisticated lab equipment with precision
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of results while adhering to strict quality and safety standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
Perform phlebotomy procedures on rare occasions as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Generalist Medical Lab Technician
Active MLT or MT certification
Current BLS certification
Proficiency with EPIC and EPIC Beaker systems
Ability to perform phlebotomy as required

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient in using LIS systems, particularly EPIC Beaker
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
