Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse - Per Diem (NOC)
Location: Redding, California
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 06-28-2027
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Per diem NOC shifts (typically 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), flexible scheduling as needed
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop patient care plans
- Float to various units as needed (must float - no exceptions)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg/Telemetry experience preferred
- Must be willing to float to different units
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Knowledge of Med Surg patient care protocols
- Skilled in IV therapy and medication administration
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments
- Basic Pharmacology and Rhythm Interpretation screening required
