Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse - Per Diem
Location: Redding, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, per diem - flexible scheduling
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients on the Med Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings, intervene as needed
- Float to other units as required to support hospital staffing needs
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments and responses accurately
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (verified via Nursys)
- BLS certification required
- DCI/BVP certification required
- Experience in Med Surg and Telemetry preferred
- Ability to float to various units without exception
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
- Proficient in patient assessment and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments
