Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility (schedule to be provided upon hire); shift type: TBD

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and document administration accurately
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any significant changes promptly
Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans
Assist with daily living activities while promoting patient dignity and independence
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow facility policies
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required or to be obtained upon hire)
Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing/LPN program
Previous nursing experience preferred but new grads from LPN programs are welcome to apply
Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program; High School diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Patient assessment and basic clinical procedures
Vital signs monitoring and recognition of changes in condition
Electronic medical record (EMR) charting or strong documentation skills
Infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
Teamwork and effective communication with patients, families, and staff
