Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and patients, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document vital signs, symptoms, and care interventions accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Advocate for patients and communicate with families, providing education and emotional support

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine (or compact state, if applicable)
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccination completed or documented medical/religious exemption as required by facility
• Ability to provide a valid state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
