Location: Waldorf, MD
Start Date: 08-16-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide compassionate care and support to enhance residents' quality of life
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Help with mobility and safe transfers of residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure holistic, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Active Maryland GNA certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing and patient care principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Physical stamina to assist with lifts and transfers
