Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse adult and geriatric population, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, and post-surgical patients
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes in status
• Administer medications and titrate Heparin drips as ordered, ensuring patient safety
• Float across multiple facilities in Zone 1, adapting to different units and patient needs seamlessly
• Collaborate with charge nurses, nurse aides, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
• Document all care accurately in EPIC, maintaining compliance and continuity

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
• 2+ years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
• Willingness to float across multiple facilities and units
• Ability to live at least 60 miles from all facilities in Zone 1
• EPIC charting experience preferred; prior neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Medication administration, including IV drips and titration
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record
• Knowledge of cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical care
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
