Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to a diverse adult and geriatric population across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and manage heparin titrations with precision.
• Float seamlessly between four hospitals in the Denver Zone 3 area, bringing your expertise wherever it's needed.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge planning to promote recovery.
• Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC, maintaining compliance with all care standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Colorado or compact) - we'll help if needed
• 2+ years of recent MS-Tele experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA preferred)
• EPIC charting experience is a plus
• Willingness to float and adapt to different units and facilities
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Skilled in heparin titration and vascular access management
• Ability to prioritize care for 5-6 patients with varying acuity levels
• Great communication skills for collaboration and patient education
• Comfort with using EPIC and other healthcare technologies
