Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing environment
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and monitor patient responses
• Assess, plan, and document patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure quality outcomes
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Maine or a compact state
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• State or federally issued identification and ability to wear a photo badge
• Prior skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical nursing knowledge for LPN and RN practice
• Medication administration and documentation
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
