Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 8.5-hour shifts, schedule varies (specific start/end times and days to be scheduled with facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents
Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to policy
Assess, monitor, and document patients' clinical status and changes
Collaborate with nurses, aides, therapists, and physicians to implement care plans
Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly and empathetically with residents and family members

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (must be active and in good standing)
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with long-term care clinical documentation and care plans
Ability to perform focused nursing assessments and report changes
Good time management and prioritization under typical nursing demands
Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff
Compassionate bedside manner and the ability to support residents emotionally
