Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care consistent with LPN scope
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition
- Collaborate closely with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate charting and ensure regulatory and facility documentation standards are met
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and a therapeutic environment
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
- Available to work the scheduled shifts: Sunday, Friday, Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Local to Albuquerque (this is a LOCAL ONLY assignment)
- Available for the 13-week assignment from 2026-02-09 through 2026-05-04
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and observation skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and team members
- Accurate charting and comfort working with electronic health records
- Infection control practices and attention to safety protocols
- Teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment
