Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered bedside care that supports recovery and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope accurately and safely
• Monitor and record vital signs, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort with respect and empathy
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote successful transitions

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — or willingness to obtain promptly
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts on Sunday, Friday, and Saturday
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Local candidates only (position is local-only)

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical skills in medication administration, wound care basics, and ADL assistance
• Ability to accurately assess and document patient status and charting
• Good time management and prioritization for busy shift workflows
• Comfortable working within an interdisciplinary team and following care plans
• Customer-service mindset for compassionate patient and family interactions
• Familiarity with basic facility policies and infection control practices
