Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, prioritizing safety and dignity
- Administer medications and treatments per facility policy and provider orders
- Monitor patients, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient chart/EMR
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Support patient and family education with clarity and empathy
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
- Eligible to work in New Mexico and available for local assignment (LOCAL ONLY)
- Comfortable working the scheduled hours: Mon–Wed, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical skills: medication administration, basic wound care, vital sign assessment
- Charting and documentation in an electronic medical record
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Effective patient and family communication
- Time management and the ability to prioritize competing tasks
