Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Perform accurate vital signs and timely documentation to support clinical decision making
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, feeding, and hygiene while promoting dignity and independence
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Communicate clearly with nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate care
• Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes with attention to detail
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through respectful, person-centered interactions

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (VT or NH)
• Active state registry status and ability to work in VT/NH
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with facility vaccination and screening requirements
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset

Education

• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and patient mobility
• Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
• Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety best practices
• Comfortable with electronic and paper documentation
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for patient-centered care
