Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of 2-3 outpatient nursing professionals
• Develop and maintain policies that ensure top-quality patient care
• Oversee quality control, compliance, and financial management for the department
• Build meaningful relationships with providers to grow referrals and expand services
• Create and implement programs for Oncology, Infusion, and Wound Care services
• Stay current with best practices and provide ongoing staff education and training
• Manage prior authorization, coding, and billing procedures with precision
• Coordinate orientation and support continuous learning for new team members
• Maintain financial oversight including monthly reports and annual budgeting
• Provide administrative on-call support across all hospital departments

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Utah
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school
• Minimum 2 years of Oncology Nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ONS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least 3 years recent RN experience
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a medical setting preferred
• Certified Wound Care Nurse preferred
• Infusion certification preferred
• Comfortable with electronic health records and managing sensitive information

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong leadership skills to build and maintain a cohesive, positive work unit
• Deep understanding of state and federal regulations for outpatient infusion and nursing
• Expertise in Oncology, Infusion, and Wound Care best practices
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly with emotional maturity
• Skilled in financial oversight, budgeting, and departmental planning
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed
