Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• DCI/BVP certification or experience
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of ICU equipment and monitoring devices
• Ability to respond quickly to life-threatening situations
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
