Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents, supporting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Document resident care and observations clearly and promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current GNA certification required
High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED
GNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic geriatric care principles and resident-centered approach
Measuring and recording vital signs with attention to detail
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
Reliable documentation and time management
Teamwork and the ability to follow nursing care plans
