Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions with patient-centered care
• Perform advanced ERCP and other endoscopic procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
• Collaborate closely with a team of gastroenterologists and multidisciplinary colleagues to coordinate care
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation, including weekend coverage, to ensure continuous patient care
• Document clinical encounters and procedures thoroughly using the EPIC EMR
• Contribute to a high-volume practice, delivering efficient, high-quality outcomes for a diverse caseload
• Apply evidence-based medicine to improve patient outcomes and advance clinical practices
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including CME, and support team learning and mentorship

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for or holds Colorado medical licensure (ability to obtain required state licensure)
• Proven experience with ERCP and advanced endoscopic procedures
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
• BLS/ACLS certification and DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Willingness to participate in shared on-call rotation, including weekends
• UCHealth able to support visa candidates for this position

Education

• MD or DO
• Completion of Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Gastroenterology
