Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional preventive dental care, including professional cleanings, scaling, and polishing
• Educate patients on best practices for at-home oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take and process dental X-rays and assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately while maintaining patient comfort
• Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required
• Radiography/X-ray certification per state requirements
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to build rapport with patients and provide gentle, compassionate care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of periodontal disease and preventive dentistry
• Proficiency with dental software and patient charting
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
• Skilled in patient education and communication
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
