Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding preventive dental care, including cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Assess patients' oral health and document findings accurately
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on hygiene best practices and at-home oral care
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a spotless, safe operatory
• Partner with the dentist and front-office team to keep patient flow smooth and stress-free

Qualifications

• An active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Genuine passion for patient education and preventive care
• Strong communicator who can make every patient feel at ease
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings
• Reliable and punctual, especially for short-notice coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental anatomy, scaling, and root planing techniques
• Comfort with digital radiography and dental practice management software
• Solid understanding of infection control standards and OSHA guidelines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and chairside manner
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the dental team
