Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and patient assessments
• Take and develop dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiography (x-ray) certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• A friendly, caring disposition and a passion for oral health

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Skill in patient education and motivational interviewing
• Comfort with dental software and electronic record keeping
• Understanding of infection control protocols and safety standards
