Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Take and process dental radiographs with precision
• Educate patients on preventive care and oral hygiene
• Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and radiography
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to infection control and OSHA standards
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the dental team
• Proficiency with dental charting and practice management software
