Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings and polishing, to keep patients smiling
• Assess patients' oral health and partner with the dentist to create personalized treatment plans
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of routine care
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming clinical environment
• Document patient care accurately and keep records up to date

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience performing dental cleanings and radiographs
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical dental hygiene skills
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety protocols
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Great patient communication and education abilities
• Attention to infection control and sterilization standards
• Ability to work efficiently with the dental care team
